The HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the deduction of CBSE class XI and XII syllabus by 30% on 7th July 2020. As the JEE Main syllabus comprises topics from both CBSE 11th and 12th, aspirants are now in a dilemma. Will JEE Main 2021 syllabus get shortened too? There is a high possibility that this will also impact JEE Main 2021 syllabus. However, the curriculum reduction will not impact the core concepts conveyed by a tweet from the HRD minister.
As JEE Main is going to be more competitive, all the candidates must be aware of JEE Main 2021 syllabus. Constructing a strong base and working on their fundamentals from the beginning is the key. With the outbreak of COVID19, the April session's JEE Main 2020 aspirants have witnessed a postponement. This year, due to this worldwide pandemic and imposed lockdown, candidates cannot get proper guidance in the best possible way. JEE Main 2021 aspirants must utilize this situation, and they are advised to take the help of online classes and do selfstudy.
Will JEE Main 2021 syllabus be reduced?
Any notification regarding the reduction of the JEE Main 2021 syllabus has not been announced by NTA yet. However, many topics have been deducted from the CBSE syllabus, including Maths, Physics, and Chemistry for the academic year 202021. Hence, the chances of curtailing the JEE Main 2021 syllabus is quite high.
COVID19 has laid a significant concussion in the education sector this year. Keeping in mind the current scenario and reducing the syllabus will help the students. The HRD Minister has hence decided to trim the CBSE syllabus. Now, there is a high possibility that NTA may do it.
JEE Main 2021 aspirants can check below subjectwise weightage of JEE Main topics and chapters. All the candidates should go through the syllabus and plan their preparation strategy out accordingly.
